PRODUCTS IN PERFECTION
We provide material for the future
The Hromatka Group's portfolio includes almost all thermoplastic polymers. From standard plastics to engineering plastics and high-performance plastics, we can meet almost any product requirement.
Most of our polymers are available in versions based on fossil raw materials, as recycled goods, or as bioplastics. And, if desired, they can even be compounded to customer specifications.
Raw materials, compounds , and solutions
Commodities and polyolefins
Standard plastics are the most commonly used polymers and are characterized by their versatility and ease of processing. However, for us, "standard" does not mean that we treat the material as a mass-produced product. Rather, we guarantee the highest product quality in this segment as well and offer comprehensive advice on the right choice.
Low-density polyethylene (LDPE)
High-density polyethylene (HDPE)
Polypropylene (PP)
PP homopolymer (PPH)

Acrylic ester-styrene-acrylonitrile (ASA)
Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA)
Styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer (SAN)
Engineering plastics
Engineering plastics are characterized by improved mechanical, thermal, electrical, or chemical properties. All of these are requirements for demanding technical applications. The Hromatka Group supplies
Polycarbonate (PC)
Polyamides (PA, PA6, PA6.6)
Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT)
Polyoxymethylene / Polyacetal (POM)
Polyphenylene ether (PPE)
Blends and compounds expand the portfolio by combining properties. Can also be developed specifically for your application on request.
high-performance plastics
When applications are exposed to extreme conditions, there is no alternative to high-performance plastics. Due to their exceptional properties and performance in demanding applications, they are in high demand in the aerospace, medical technology, automotive, oil, and gas industries, as well as in mechanical engineering. They are generally highly tensile, bend-resistant, and rigid, can withstand high, sometimes even extreme temperatures, are resistant to chemicals, acids, bases, and solvents, and exhibit enormous abrasion and wear resistance. You can rely on these materials at the Hromatka Group:
Thermoplastic polyimides (TPI)
Polyetherimide (PEI)
Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS)
Polyethersulfone (PES)
Polysulfone (PSU)
Polyetheretherketone (PEEK)
Polyphthalamide (PPA)
THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMERS (TPE)
Thermoplastic elastomers combine the properties of thermoplastic materials and elastomers. They are flexible, easy to shape, and have the ability to return to their original shape after deformation. Depending on their composition and manufacturing process, TPEs offer a wide range of mechanical properties, from soft and rubbery to firm and robust. We offer the entire spectrum.
Thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU)
Thermoplastic styrene block copolymers (TPS)
Styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS)
Styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS)
BIOPOLYMERS and REGRANULATES
Biopolymers have been in increasing demand for several years. However, there is still no precise definition of the term. What they all have in common, however, is that they are either made from renewable raw materials or can be broken down by biological processes. In the best case, both.
It is also important to distinguish between whether bio-based materials are added to conventional plastics or whether they are actually a 1:1 replacement for a polymer from fossil sources. In the latter case, this is referred to as a "drop-in" solution.
Since petrochemical sources such as crude oil are not used and the material is made from renewable resources such as plants, algae, bacteria, fungi, soy protein, sugar cane, vegetable oils, or other biological sources, biopolymers have a lower environmental impact and contribute to reducing environmental pollution and promoting the circular economy.
The use of regranulates also helps to further reduce the carbon footprint. The Hromatka Group not only has a steadily growing portfolio of recycled and upgraded recycling products, but is also increasingly specializing in active participation in the closed-loop plastics cycle with group companies such as Wind & Thermoplastkreislauf (TPK) and SAX Polymers.
Numerous industries, including packaging, agriculture, medicine, cosmetics, textiles, and construction, are already relying on sustainable alternatives.
MASTERBATCHES, ADDITIVES, CLEANING GRANULES, and MORE
Can't find what you're looking for despite all the choices? In addition to thermoplastics, our product portfolio also includesmasterbatchesand additivesthat specifically modify or improve the properties of plastic materials directly at the customer's site in order to give the finished plastic products the desired performance characteristics.
In some countries, we also carry a wide range of rubber materials.
For efficient, quick, and cost-saving material changes during ongoing production, we would be happy to advise you on thecleaning granulates best suited to your machines and materials.
PLASTIC SHEETS and FILMS
In addition to raw materials, the Hromatka Group offers innovative solutions and high-quality polycarbonate products as translucent and resistant materials for construction, architecture, and industry.
Solid, multi-wall, and corrugated polycarbonate sheets, solar control sheets, and skylights are perfect forroofing, greenhouses, facades, and protective glazing. Thanks to their high impact resistance, UV protection, and thermal insulation, they are durable, energy-efficient, and easy to process.
In the sheet and film business, too, the goal is to provide you with local teams that offer not only materials, but comprehensive solutions for your projects.
